Minneapolis police are looking for the man who punched a woman in the face during a road rage incident.
The victim, a hospice social worker, says she was on her way to see a client when she encountered a driver who seemed to be in a hurry. The driver was switching lanes and tailing other drivers, she said. Then the woman made a turn, and the other driving apparently followed her. She heard screeching brakes, and when she got to a stop sign Wednesday the angry driver had blocked off her minivan.
Witness Dylan Bauer told WCCO-TV that he heard yelling and swearing. He says the man opened the minivan’s driver’s side door and punched the woman twice in the face, then sped away. Bauer and other drivers came to the woman’s aid. She suffered bruising and swelling to her face.
WCCO reported that witnesses got the license number of the car the suspect was driving. Police are investigating.
