A fight at a St. Paul apartment ended with a woman smashing a liquor bottle over a 26-year-old’s head and then using it to stab her and another woman, according to charges filed Tuesday.
Police found one of the women going in and out of consciousness with stab wounds on her leg, abdomen and back on Saturday. A 31-year-old woman was covered in blood and had lacerations to her face.

The Ramsey County attorney’s office charged Tiara La Shae King, 26, with two counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
When police talked to King at her East Side apartment, she appeared “very intoxicated and confused” and said “two women had been trashing her apartment and refusing to leave,” according to the criminal complaint.
Someone called 911 on Saturday at 8:20 a.m. and reported hearing what sounded like a physical altercation in an apartment at 1286 Hazelwood St.
An officer saw a speeding car, pulled it over and found two of the passengers injured. The driver told the officer she needed to get to the hospital.
After her arrest, King told police that her roommate invited the women over, she and one of them argued and she said they had to leave. She said one spit in her face and swung at her, and she swung a glass bottle at her, the complaint said. She said the women were throwing things around the kitchen and she didn’t recall either of them having injuries.
Carole Finneran, King’s attorney, said, “Ms. King maintains her innocence and we look forward to presenting a vigorous defense on her behalf.”
